MITCHELL, S.D. — With winter sports back in full swing, Dakota Wesleyan will host four events this week, highlighted by basketball action. The women's wrestling program will travel to Nebraska for a non-conference open, while the track and field teams head out west to compete in the Dave Little Alumni Meet.

At the first Indoor Open for Dakota Wesleyan track and field posted a strong outing, highlighted by multiple season- and personal-best marks on the men's side, including standout performances from Quenton Walls in the jumps, top results in the pole vault, and several nationally ranked mid-distance finishes. The women were led by a podium shot put finish from Devin Hongslo, strong throws from the relay and field groups, and personal-best showings across sprints and jumps.

Dakota Wesleyan Women's Wrestling saw several strong individual efforts at the BVU Women's Open, highlighted by Cerys Gardner's pin on the back side of the 110 bracket and Kaylei Hinck's opening-round pin against Augsburg. Tiara Faehnrich added a pair of wins by forfeit at 138, while Kaitlin Gay finished eighth at 207 with a 1-3 record to round out the Tigers' competitors
