MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan University Athletics will host two basketball events on campus this week, featuring one junior varsity and one varsity competition. The varsity men's and women's basketball teams will host Dordt on Wednesday, while the junior varsity squads are also set to compete at home on Thursday.

The Dakota Wesleyan Tigers men were led by freshman Dustin Lemaster's personal records in the 200m and 400m, while Trayton Moore (shot put) and Quenton Walls (triple jump champion) highlighted the field events, and Graham Huffman added a runner-up finish in the 1000m to close out the regular season.

On the women's side, Dani Deffenbaugh set new personal bests in the 60m hurdles and shot put to pace DWU, with additional PRs from Hailey Oswald and Ella Pollreisz, strong jumping performances from Riley Jones, and solid throws from Shirley Huckins, Samantha Kludt, and Devin Hongslo ahead of the indoor postseason.
