MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan will host three events in the Mitchell area, including the opening rounds of the national tournament for its ninth-ranked women's basketball team, Friday and Saturday at the Corn Palace.

The Tigers are coming off a huge win, defeating the reigning back-to-back champions Dordt (IA). The Tigers not only garnered the GPAC Championship, but DWU snapped the Defenders' 46-win streak at home.

For the first time in DWU history, we are hosting opening rounds of the NAIA National Championship, where we were placed against St. Francis (IL) in the round of 64.
