General: Christoffels joins the Tigers following a short stint at Luther College … two-sport athlete at Sioux Falls Washington High School.

Freshman (2022): Appeared in six games for the Tigers… had a trio of at bats, driving in one RBI and earning one walk… had three sightings on the mound for DWU in 2022 earning the start in one game… tossed eight complete innings, allowing nine hits, and 11 earned runs… walked seven batters while striking out three for a 3.38 strike out per nine inning average.

High School: Played baseball for one season at Washington High … tabbed as an All-State Academic selection in 2019 … honored with the Legion Sportsmanship Award … played for SE Post 15 East Legion … competed on the golf team for three seasons ... a two-year letterwinner.

DAKOTA WESLEYAN’S COMEBACK FALLS SHORT VERSUS LANCERS IN YANKTON

YANKTON, S.D. - A pair of baserunners on the corners in the top of the ninth inning looked promising, though the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball program was unable to complete the comeback, falling to in-state foe Mount Marty University, 13-12, in a non-conference affair on Wednesday evening from Bob Tereshinski Stadium in Yankton, S.D. Senior duo Cameron Quigley and Carter Gullickson combined for a team-high six hits while Mount Marty stole the season rubber match.

MADISON, S.D. – For the fourth time this season, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team battled in-state foe Dakota State University on the diamond including a non-conference mid-week tilt on Tuesday evening from Flynn Field in Madison, S.D. Drew Kitchens and the Dakota Wesleyan offense leaped out to the initial 3-0 advantage, however; Dakota State powered back for the 14-4 home victory.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On a sunny and windy afternoon, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball program battled in-state and NCAA Division II opponent Augustana University in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon from Ronken Field in Sioux Falls, S.D. Augustana claimed the opener, 11-4, in seven innings and swept the series with an 11-1 victory in the game-two finale.
