General: Ryan McGinnis is a 5-11 tri-sport athlete from Mitchell, S.D... McGinnis was an Academic All-State honoree for Mitchell Senior High and was part of National Honors Society, along with earning the Kiwanis Academic excellence Award... McGinnis will study entrepreneurial leadership with a minor in agricultural business.

Sophomore (2022): Appeared in 11 games during the 2022 season… went 6-for-28 with one double, six RBI and a pair of runs scored… recording a .405 on base percentage… tallied 38 putouts and gunned down two runners while behind the plate.

High School: The 5-foot-11 catcher was a two year starter in the football program, a six year starter on the wrestling squad, and a three year baseball starter... McGinnis was tabbed as the Brandon Bulsworth Character Award winner on the wrestling team, along with a captain on the football team.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – A Matt Bezdicek RBI double, 1-of-4 runs for the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball program in the top of the sixth inning and matching the single-season program record for doubles in a season with 16, along with a complete performance by sophomore Logan Davis on the mound propelled Dakota Wesleyan to the dominant, 11-1 road victory over in-state foe Presentation College on Tuesday evening from Fossum Field in Aberdeen, S.D.

HASTINGS, Neb. – Seven quality innings from Jereko Martinez on the mound and a season-high three RBI from freshman Michael Zeman assisted the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team to an even series split following a doubleheader matinee versus Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) opponent Hastings College on Sunday from Duncan Field in Hastings, Neb. Hastings grabbed the opener, 14-8, though Dakota Wesleyan answered the call with a sense of urgency in game two and ultimately secured the 9-4 road win.

MITCHELL, S.D. - On a windy spring evening, opening day commenced the scene at Cadwell Park while the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team handled in-state foe Presentation College, 12-3, in a non-conference, midweek tilt on Tuesday in Mitchell, S.D. Senior righthanded pitcher Bradley Dean was dominant on the mound while sophomore infielder Seth Christiansen funneled the energy at the plate, and Dakota Wesleyan cruised to the single-game victory.
