General: The Bismarck State transfer comes to DWU as a pitcher and first baseman.

Senior (2022): Appeared in nine game for the Tigers on the bump, earning the start in eight of them… he tossed two complete games to finish with a 3-6 record on the year… through his 43 a 2/3 innings pitched, he allowed 75 hits, and 42 earned runs… he walked 13 batters, while striking out 23 for an average of 4.74 strikeouts per nine innings… he allowed seven home runs and posted an 8.66 ERA.

PENTICOFF, DAKOTA WESLEYAN BOUNCE BACK IN GAME TWO, DOMINANT 12-4 VICTORY AGAINST NORTHWESTERN

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Headed down the final stretch of the 2022 regular season, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team battled conference foe Northwestern College in a pivotal doubleheader on Friday afternoon from Baseball Diamond complex in Orange City Iowa. Senior pitcher Dawson Penticoff collected the complete game on bump, and Dakota Wesleyan overcame a 6-4 loss in the opener with a must-have, 12-4 victory in game two.

Dordt clinched the doubleheader opener, 1-0, by way of a pitcher’s dual and claimed the finale 4-0.

BRANDON, S.D. – In spite of the frigid and cold conditions, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball program handled in-state opponent Dakota State University by a score of 8-4 in neutral-site action on Wednesday evening from Aspen Park in Brandon, S.D. Both teams recorded 13 hits in the single-game affair, though it was a solid outing by senior Dawson Penticoff on the mound, and a timely homerun from Kalub Carmichael which kickstarted Dakota Wesleyan to the four-run victory.
