Freshman (2023): Started in 10 games on the mound for the Tigers...compiled a 1-7 record while throwing 38.1 innings with a 9.86 era...finished fourth on the team with 26 punchouts...earned a complete game effort win for his first collegiate win while racking up six punchouts and only giving up one run in a home 2-1 win vs. Hastings (4/24/23)...had a quality start against D2 opponent SMSU going six innings, giving up two runs and collecting three strikeouts (3/5/23).

High School: During his two years as a starter for both the Hubmen football and baseball teams Mizsak was an honor roll student and collected 2021 Football All-District Honorable Mention honors... the Jordan, Minnesota native, played for the Minnesota Starters and the American Legion Post baseball clubs during the summer months.

TIGERS DROP BOTH GAMES ON FIRST DAY IN TUCSON, ARIZ. STILL SEARCHING FOR FIRST WIN

Dakota Wesleyan baseball dropped both games on the first day of their Spring Trip in Tucson, Ariz. by scores of 13-2 against Benedictine University Mesa who improved to 10-7 on the season and 4-2 vs. Southwest Minnesota State University by a score of 4-2. The Mustangs improved to 2-1 on the year with the Tigers dropping to 0-5 and still looking for that first win of the 2023 spring season.

TIGERS DROP FIRST DH OF THE SEASON 12-2 & 8-0 AGAINST KANSAS WESLEYAN

The Dakota Wesleyan Baseball team dropped their first doubleheader of the 2023 season by scores of 12-2 in game 1 and 8-0 in game 2. The Tigers collected two runs on six hits in the first game while going scoreless with two hits in the second. Lane Darrow went 2 for 5 on the day with a run scored, double and a walk. DWU looks to get in the win column with a rematch against the Coyotes tomorrow at noon.
