MITCHELL, S.D. - Dakota Wesleyan baseball will face Midland in Game 2 in the GPAC Tournament after falling to Concordia.

(8) Dakota Wesleyan (12-35, 11-17 GPAC) – The Tigers dropped their opening game after falling to top-seeded Concordia in a tightly contested battle that remained even until the bottom of the sixth inning. Caleb Meyers delivered a strong performance, pitching 5.2 innings and striking out six, before handing the ball off to relievers Nathaniel Huisken, Brayden Cherrey, and Broc Berry. Meyers also contributed at the plate with two RBIs, while Dexter Payne and Joseph Tharaldson each added an RBI to support the Tigers' offense.
(5) Midland (20-27, 16-12 GPAC) – The Warriors dropped their opening game to Briar Cliff at Plum Creek Park. During the regular season, Midland and Dakota Wesleyan split their series, with both games being tightly contested. This sets up an exciting and evenly matched showdown between the two teams.
