General: After signing with the DWU baseball team in 2015, Pierson moved to the offensive line for the DWU football team in the fall of 2017.

High School: Finished the 2013 spring season with a .240 batting average with 10 RBIs … recorded a .346 batting average with 32 RBIs during the legion season in 2013 … helped his team win the 2013 Legion Region Championship … named 2013 Legion State Big Stick Award with a .692 average during the tournament … also started in football for two seasons for the Kernals.
