 Steve Schneider joins the Dakota Wesleyan coaching staff as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.  Schneider held a head coaching position most recently with Peru State College.  Before his time with the Bobcats, he served as the head coach at Midland Lutheran College in the Nebraska-Iowa Athletic Conference (NIAC), known today as Midland University of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).  Other titles he held at Peru State included offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, while he was also the special teams coordinator, defensive coordinator, offensive line coach, defensive line coach, secondary coach and linebacker coach at Midland.

 Schneider also collected numerous accolades throughout his time coaching.  He was named NIAC Football Coach-of-the-Year with Midland and coached 12 NAIA All-Americans and two A.O. Duer Award winners.  Schneider coached a nationally ranked scoring and rushing offense, as well as being a two-time qualifier for the NAIA national playoffs.  He coached numerous NAIA Scholar-Athletes and hundreds of All-Conference athletes.

 The Fremont, Neb., native, also held multiple collegiate administration positions, including the director of athletics for Peru State, Midland and the College of St. Mary.  He has been a project manager to lead fundraising for a $9 million project with Midland and was a team member for fundraising an $11 million capital project at Peru State.  For his efforts as administrator, Schneider was named the NIAC Administrator-of-the-Year once and the Midlands Collegiate Conference (MCAC) Administrator-of-the-Year.
