General: Preston enters his freshman season with the Tiger men’s golf team … he comes to DWU after competing for Aberdeen Central.
High School: Finished high school with five-varsity letters for the Eagles … ended his senior season with a stroke average of 74.6 and had a junior season stroke average of 77.8 … named to the All-State Team and All-Conference Team twice … also played on the AJGA, SDGA and MN players’ tour.
Personal: Born Jan. 17, 1998 … son of Pat and Heidi Preston and plans to major in graphic design with a minor in sport, exercise and wellness.
