Hutchinson, Kan. – Dakota Wesleyan men's golf wraps up day two with jumping two spots for a 12th-place finish at the Prairie Dunes Invite.
How It Happened
As a team, the Tigers wrapped up day one shooting a team total of 328 only to improve on day two shooting a 313. Max Dailey finished day two shooting a 79 with a two-day total of 170 that put him in a three-way tie for 82nd. Payton Phares climbed eight spots on the final day after shooting a 78. Phares stroke total was 165, placing him 76th overall. Micah Dohrer also climbed on day two, rising 16-spots after shooting a 76. Dohrer totaled 163 between the two rounds finishing in a four-way tie for 68th. Bennett Lundy stayed consistent on day two shooting an 80 that placed him at 59th overall for a stroke total of 160. Cade Carpenter was the top finisher for the Tigers after shooting an 84 on day two. Carpenter's two-day total of 158 put him in a four-way tie for 53rd.

Dakota Wesleyan men's golf is back in action on Saturday, April 9 and 10 from Elmwood Golf Course. The Tigers will compete in the two-day Augustana Invitational hosted by Augustana University.
