KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Connor Calahan picked up multiple awards following his performance at the 2025 Blue River Classic.
The junior out of Flagstaff, Arizona, would post an impressive final score of 211 (-5) to place third individually at the tournament, only being topped by two of the nation's best junior college competitors. The final score would be his second-straight top-three individual finish to open the 2025-26 season, placing first at the Mount Marty Invitational just a couple weeks ago.
Calahan's efforts would not only land him honors at the conference level, being named the first GPAC Men's Golfer of the Week of the season, but also garnered national attention, being named the NAIA's Men's Golfer of the Week as well. You can read the full release for his GPAC honors here, and the NAIA's official release here. Calahan is also the fourth Dakota Wesleyan student-athlete to earn weekly GPAC honors since the fall season began just under a month ago, and DWU's first weekly national award winner of the 2025-26 year.
