DWU Men's Soccer Rank Tenth in GPAC Preseason Poll

Mitchell, S.D. – Morningside College totaled 120 points for first place in the 2021 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Preseason Men's Soccer Coaches' Poll. The Mustangs garnered ten of twelve first place votes. Morningside was the 2020 GPAC regular season men's soccer title.

Briar Cliff was picked second with 109 points and two first place votes. Hastings, Concordia and Northwestern round out the top five respectively.

 

The GPAC Preseason Coaches' Poll places DWU men's soccer to finish tenth in the conference this year with 34 points. Last year men's soccer finished eighth in the GPAC posting a 5-9-1 overall record and 4-6-1 record in league play.

 

The 2021 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship will on November 30- December 6, 2021, at a site still to be determined. Opening rounds will be November 18-20 on campus sites. The GPAC will receive two automatic bids to the NAIA Postseason in 2021. 

The 2021 GPAC men's soccer season schedule will consist of eleven (11) league games as all 12 teams will compete for the conference crown. Presentation College continues to play in the GPAC as an affiliate member in men's and women's soccer.
