SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Zackary Stephens has been named the GPAC's Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week following an elite performance against a top-25 in-conference opponent.
Stephens had a season-best effort against the No. 25 Midland Warriors coming off a bye for DWU Men's Soccer, recording seven total saves to earn the Tigers a ranked win, and move to tied-second place in the GPAC standings. Stephens also registered a crucial late save that gave Dakota Wesleyan the advantage to score the game-winning goal in the 84th minute. He has registered 23 saves on the season so far.
