Bio
Sophomore Outdoor (2025-26): Competed in seven meets throughout the season... as the season drew to a close, Walls posted his best performances, recording a season-best long jump of 6.69 meters at the Viking Twilight on April 22... and a triple jump mark of 13.60 meters at the Grand View Viking Classic on April 25... he also played a key role in helping set a new school record in the sprint medley relay with a time of 25:01 ... also #10 in Tiger history for the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:31.53 at GPAC Conference Championships (May 2-3).
Sophomore Indoor (2025-26): Competed in seven meets ... saw improvement in all events ... ran in the 60m (7.49 seconds), long jump (6.39m), and the triple jump (12.98m).
Freshman Outdoor (2023-24): Competed in seven meets ... in the first meet of the season Walls hit a season-best mark of 6.27m in the long jump at the Wayne State - Wildcat Classic (3/29-30/24) ... recorded a season-best distance of 12.85m at the GPAC Championships giving him 12th place (5/3-4/24).
Freshman Indoor (2023-24): Jumped in six meets in his freshman year at DWU … hit all of his personal bests at the Myrle Hanson Open, jumping 5.99m in long jump and 12.69m in triple jump … ran a leg of the 4x400m relay in three meets and ran the 60m with a time of 7.80.
High School: 2023 graduate at Huron High School...competed in jumps with best marks of 41'6" in the triple jump which placed him 17th at state and 18'11" in the long jump at the Pierre Invite...during his academic career was a member of NHS, 2022 Boy's State and recipient of Spirit of Boy's State award...also competed in basketball.
