General: Schlicht joins the Tiger cross country and track and field teams for the 2016-17 season … he has had a standout career while in high school, succeeding in multiple events, ranging from the hurdles to long-distance events.
High School: In cross country Schlicht placed in the top-twenty 4 times at the Class ‘B’ State Meet … Schlicht had a seventh-place finish in his senior season, fifth place as a junior, 10th as a sophomore and 20th as a freshman … for his standout achievements Schlicht was named to the All-State Cross Country Team three times … his best time on a 5K course in his four seasons of cross country was 17:01 … Schlicht excelled in a wide variety of events for the Blackhawks track and field team … in his junior season he placed fourth at the state meet in the 300-meter hurdles, he had a best time of 41.3 … he had a third-place finish at the state meet in the 800-meter run as a junior and has a best time of 2:02 … in the 1,600-meter run has a best time of 4:42 and placed fifth at the state meet in his junior season … as a senior, had a phenomenal season topping it off with a second-place finish at the State ‘B’ meet in the 1,600-meter run.
