Aberdeen, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan softball rebounds with a dominating game two performance against Presentation after dropping a close game one. Tiger softball wraps up the double header with a record of 2-4 overall.

How It Happened
Game 1
- Tigers started things off with leadoff batter Alyssa Burke singling to center field then swiping second base.
- With one out and Burke standing on second Reagan Grossi steps to the plate finding space in left center field to set down a single as Burke advances to third for runners on the corner.
- Coach Lien called for a double steal that resulted in DWU's lone run of the first inning.
- The Saints started the game off with a double to left field as she later came around to tie the game at 1-1 after one inning of play.
- Tianna Boone stayed patient at the plate for her first at-bat, resulting in a walk.
- Adriana Thomason grabbed a double to left field with one out allowing Tianna Boone to cross home for the 2-1 lead.
- Presentations lone run in the second came off a homerun to center field knotting the game at 2-2.
- Both the Tigers and Saints left two runners stranded on base in the third inning.
- After scoreless fourth Dakota Wesleyan stranded two runners on base as the game was still tied at 2-2.
- The Saints came out in the bottom of the fifth putting up three runs on three hits as the Tigers now trailed 5-2 heading into the sixth.
- In the sixth, DWU loads the bases with one out as Aubrey Garbarek reaches first on a dropped third strike.
- The Tigers grabbed one run in the sixth inning after Burke reached on a fielder's choice and Tianna Boone crossed home and leaving two runners on base.
- Tava Boone comes out after5 1/3 innings pitched as Jacey Linke steps in the circle and gives up two runs before the Tigers grab the third out of the inning.
- Heading into the top of the seventh DWU trails PC 7-3 as Grossi leads off the inning.
- In the top of the seventh, DWU goes down one-two-three as they drop game one to the Saints 7-3.
- Tianna Boone led DWU going 1-for-2 with two runs and one walk.
Game 2
- Dakota Wesleyan kicked off game two putting up three runs on two hits in the first inning.
- After Burke stole second, Mckinnely Mull came to back placing a double to right center field that allowed Burke to cross home.
- Meghan Daffern sent a ball out of the park for a two RBI homerun and the 3-0 lead.
- Bottom of the inning, DWU picked up a double play keeping PC scoreless.
- The Tigers put two more runs up in the second inning as Garbarek scored Sophie Wietzema, followed by Thomason advancing on the Burke groundout.
- In the third and fourth inning, the Tigers put up six total runs on five hits and four PC errors.
- Dakota Wesleyan was held scoreless in the fifth and final inning of the game as they split against PC.
- Daffern led the Tigers going 3-for-3 with three runs, and three RBI.

Dakota Wesleyan softball is back in action tomorrow from the PC Dome for the week two PC Dome Invite. The Tigers will kick things off tomorrow at 12 p.m. against Dakota State then back in the dome for game two at 6 p.m. against Mayville State.
