Grad Senior (2022-23): Started in all 32 games at center for the Tigers...was named All-GPAC Second Team for a second straight season and was also named GPAC CO Defensive Player of The Year... Campbell recorded her 1,000-career point at DWU this season in a 73-41 win over Mount Marty (1/15/23)...currently sits at 1,194 career points at DWU which ranks her 22nd all-time, but has 1,879 career collegiate points with her time at Presentation College which if included would rank her 3rd all-time in DWU history...finished with a team-high 14.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, GPAC leading 1.7 blocks and also had 1.0 assists...recorded double-digit points in 26 of 32 games this season, highlighted by a season-high 30 points on 14-18 shooting against Mount Marty (11/22/22)...on the defensive end of the floor Jada tied a school record with six blocks at home against (RV) Jamestown (2/1/23)...Campbell recorded 2+ blocks in 15 games this season...finished the season with five double-doubles...was named a 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete.

Senior (2021-22): Started in 34 of 35 games...named All-Conference Second Team...finished season averaging 13.1 (second on team)points per game on 55.8 from the field and 62.7 from the free throw line...Campbell also averaged 6.2 rebounds (second on team) and 1.3 blocks per game (first on team)...compiled three double-doubles on the season...scored 15 or more points in 16 of the 35 total games...had a career high 33 points and season high 17 rebounds at Morningside (3/1/22)...recorded 25 points on 11-14 shooting to go with 13 rebounds and three blocks at Jamestown (11/17/21)...finished with a season high five blocks vs. College of Saint Mary (2/6/22)...added 33 assists and 18 steals.

Junior (2020-21): Started in all 25 games in her first season at Dakota Wesleyan … ended the season ranked 16th nationally in total blocks with 43 … ranked nationally in total rebounds as well with 209 … second in the GPAC in both total blocks and blocks per game … third on the conference leaderboards in both total rebounds and rebounds per game … led the Tigers in blocks, rebounds and double-doubles … compiled five double-doubles … season-high 24 points versus Mount Marty … scored 279 points on 52.5% shooting from the field … season-best 18 rebounds against Morningside … recorded four or more blocks in four outings … eclipsed 100 career blocks versus Briar Cliff … tallied 17 assists and 13 steals … an All-GPAC Honorable Mention selection.

Previous College: Recorded 21 double-doubles in her sophomore season ... named NSAA Player-of-the-Week ... along with NSAA Defensive Player-of-the-Year honors, she was tabbed to the All-Conference Second Team ... finished third in the NAIA in rebounds ... in her sophomore campaign, Campbell tallied 16.4 points, 13.9 rebounds and two blocks per game, while shooting 35% from 3-point range ... in her freshman season, she averaged 6.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per contest ... recorded a personal best 30-point and 21-rebound game in college.

High School: Averaged 13.7 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game during her senior season for Hanson High School ... finished as the state runner-up in 2018 ... in her senior year, she was named All-State Third Team, All-Conference Second Team, All-Tournament Team, Culver’s Classic Game MVP and Warwick Workout Player-of-the-Week ... in her junior season, she was tabbed All-Conference Third Team ... a member of the Merit Honor Roll ... also played volleyball for three years ... named All-Conference Third Team in volleyball.

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball team played a very hard-fought game against the number one team in the country but came up short for a 57-53 final. The Tigers were unable to overcome their 21 turnovers in the game and poor shooting from the free throw line (12-18) when just a night ago they shot 16-16. DWU had one of their better defensive showings of the year holding the high powered Eagles offense to just 57 points (fewest on the season) on 31.3% shooting but couldn’t overcome the turnovers. The Tigers conclude their season with a 23-9 record. Dakota Wesleyan was led by the two seniors that did it all year in Matti Reiner with 15 points and Jada Campbell with her 13 points and 12 rebounds for her second straight double-double.

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball squad picks up the blowout 85-56 win in the first round of the NAIA National Championship Tournament against (RV) Hope International University. The Tigers did it with big efforts from Isabel Ihnen scoring 18, Matti Reiner with 17, Morgan Edelman with 17 as well and Jada Campbell recording a double-double with grabbing a season-high 15 rebounds. The Tigers dominated on both ends of the court and really turned the tables halfway through the second quarter going on a 39-6 run to the 2:17 mark in the third quarter. DWU won the second half by a 50-25 margin. DWU advances to the second round to either face host CMU or Haskell at 7:00 p.m.

Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball has five representatives for the GPAC All-Conference team for the 2022-23 season. One, First Team in Senior forward Matti Reiner (3rd All-Conference selection). Two, Second Teams in Senior center Jada Campbell (3rd All-Conference selection) and junior guard Isabel Ihnen. Then two Honorable Mention’s in freshman guard Rylee Rosenquist and sophomore guard Morgan Edelman.

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball team drops a heart-breaking overtime loss in a game they led for almost 26 minutes of against No. 4 Dordt Defenders in the GPAC Semifinal game. Jada Campbell and Morgan Edelman both fouled out in the fourth quarter resulting in the Tigers to battle it out in overtime with two of their main starters and leading scorer in Campbell. DWU had the ball last with 24 seconds, down by one but couldn’t get the last second shot to fall. Four Tigers were in double figures in the contest with Edelman leading with her 16 and nine alone in the fourth quarter.

TIGERS ADVANCE AND GO A PERFECT 3-0 AGAINST THE (RV) RAIDERS ON THE SEASON BEHIND ROSENQUIST TIED CAREER-HIGH 24 POINTS IN 69-62 QUARTERFINAL WIN

Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball earned their sixth win in a row on the season and going a perfect 3-0 against the Red Raiders with the 69-62 Quarterfinal win at the Corn Palace. Rylee Rosenquist stepped up again in a big way for her team tying a career-high 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds in the quarterfinal contest. Senior, Matti Reiner turned in a big as well scoring 19 points. The Tigers now move on to face Dordt University Saturday in Sioux Center, Iowa.

TIGERS GRAB 61-54 MUST WIN OVER (RV) CONCORDIA TO LOCK UP HOSTING FIRST ROUND OF GPAC TOURNAMENT AGAINST NORTHWESTERN

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball team earned the must win victory over (RV) Concordia 61-54 to lock up a top-4 finish in the GPAC and hosting in the first round of the GPAC tournament. Jada Campbell stepped up in a big way for her team on senior day pouring in 22 points and 10 rebounds to record her 11th career double-double. Matti Reiner had a big day as well recording 15 points and two blocks/steals. Dakota Wesleyan improves to 21-7 (15-7 GPAC) while Concordia drops to 18-10 (14-8 GPAC).

ROSENQUIST LEADS TIGERS TO 13 POINT COMEBACK WIN OVER MUSTANGS

Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball squad earned the massive 13-point comeback victory 68-65 over Morningside. DWU was led by the true freshman Rylee Rosenquist who did not back away from the big moment and carried her team in crunch time scoring 10 points alone in the fourth quarter. Matti Reiner was great all-night scoring 18 points and six rebounds. DWU improves to 20-7 (14-7 GPAC) with the Mustangs dropping to 16-11 (10-10 GPAC).

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball squad completed the season sweep over the Warriors with a convincing 86-52 victory. Jada Campbell led with her 20 points, five rebounds and three blocks. Matti Reiner turned in a quality game with 16 points, eight rebounds and two assists. The Tigers shot 50.0% from the floor and dominated the rebound battle 45-28. Dakota Wesleyan improves to 18-7 (12-7 GPAC) while Midland dropped to 4-20 (2-17 GPAC).

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball team dominate on the defensive end of the floor in their 55-41 win over (RV) Northwestern. The Tigers only allowed four total points in the entire fourth quarter and held the Red Raiders scoreless in the closing seven minutes. DWU forced 22 NWC turnovers and came away with 11 steals. Jada Campbell and Matti Reiner both led with 11 points in the contest with Campbell grabbing a game-high eight rebounds. Dakota Wesleyan improves to 18-7 (12-7 GPAC) with (RV) Northwestern dropping to 17-8 (12-7 GPAC).

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball team took care of business on the road against the Saint Mary Flames 86-59. Matti Reiner led with 23 points, six assists and four rebounds. Jada Campbell added 19 points and six boards followed by Edelman with 14 points. The Tigers racked up a staggering 25 assists in the game which is the most since recording 25 against Midland (1/11/23). DWU shot extremely efficient from the floor (54.0%) and from behind the arc going 10 for 20 (50.0%). The Tigers improve to 17-7 (11-7 GPAC) with the Flames dropping to 5-19 (2-16 GPAC).

Dakota Wesleyan held their own on the defensive side of the court limiting a high-powered Jimmies offense to just 66 points but couldn’t get anything going on the offensive side. Jada Campbell tied Randi Morgan’s school record of six blocks in a game in the contest while also scoring game-high 13 points. Morgan Edelman recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Tigers drop to 16-7 (10-7 GPAC) while the Jimmies improve to 18-5 (13-4 GPAC).

The Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball team grabbed a 73-64 win against another top-20 opponent in the No. 20 Northwestern Red Raiders. DWU didn’t play their best game, turning the ball over an uncharacteristic 19 times in the game but got enough from Matti Reiner (17 points), Jada Campbell (16 points) and company when it mattered. Morgan Edelman did it all with her game-high eight rebounds, five assists and adding nine points. The Tigers shot 50.0% from the floor for a second straight game and racked up 14 assists to go with winning the rebounding battle 36-29. Dakota Wesleyan improves to 16-6 (10-6 GPAC) and also winning their sixth of their last seven games now. The Red Raiders drop to 15-7 (10-6 GPAC).

The DWU Tigers were led by Rynn Osthus off the bench scoring a career-high 18 points in the contest. Jada Campbell and Rylee Rosenquist added 18 points as well. Campbell did it all in this one recording a career-high five assists, grabbing five boards and a season-high four blocks while also dominating the fourth quarter as usual with 10 points. Dakota Wesleyan yet again dialed up the defense by having another game of forcing 20+ turnovers. DWU also moved the ball well again racking up 20 assists in the game. Dakota Wesleyan improves to 14-5 (8-5 GPAC) while Doane drops to 11-9 (5-9 GPAC).

CUNE started their possession with 33 seconds on the clock and picked up a shot clock violation and not hitting the rim. Officials allowed the 1.7 seconds shown to be the official time. Sioux Falls, S.D. – No. 7 Dakota Wesleyan women’s basketball was nearly even across the board with the Vikings of Augustana Saturday afternoon, until it came to turnovers. The Tigers were poised with 15 turnovers allowing Augie to score 15 points off those turnovers. While DWU forced eight turnovers from the Vikings, scoring 12 points off those turnovers.
