Awards & Honors

Senior (2023-24):  Has appeared and started in 21 games at the guard position … Ihnen who last season was named GPAC Second Team, earned Honorable Mention this season after her season was cut short due to an ACL injury … during the 21 games Ihnen averaged a career-high 9.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game … tied a career-high in points in a game with her 21 vs. Doane (11/17/23) … nearly missed out on a double-double with her 11 points and nine rebounds against (RV) Northwestern (12/6/23) … had at least three made three-pointers in six games during the season.

Junior (2022-23): Started in all 32 games at the guard position...was named to the All-GPAC Second Team...finished the season with career-highs with 9.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals and a team-high 57/163 from 3pt range...recorded a career-high 21 points in the 75-69 win over Doane, going 5-12 from deep (12/2/22)...had a career-high six three pointers against CSM (11/19/22)...stuffed the stat sheet against CSM in the second meeting with nine points, six rebounds, six assists and five steals (2/4/23)...also turned in a player of the game effort in the NAIA First Round against Hope International with 18 points (4-7 from 3PT) and two rebounds (3/7/23)...concluded the season with a 86.5% free throw percentage which was best on the team.

Sophomore (2021-22): Expanded her offensive role in year two … logged 20 starts for Dakota Wesleyan including 12 conference contests … appeared in all 35 games … averaged 8.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game … surpassed 300-career points … scored 287 points on the season … career-best 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting versus Doane … 15-or-more points in four outings … 18 points on 3-of-6 from beyond the arc in a pivotal road win versus Dordt … reached double figures in 10 games … team-high 47 made 3-pointers … converted 36-of-45 (80%) from the charity stripe … compiled 133 rebounds along with 103 defensive boards … snagged a career-high nine boards versus Dickinson State … registered 69 assists, 33 steals and six block ... career-high six assists against Concordia. 

Freshman (2020-21): Played in 24 contests for DWU … scored 44 points along with 15 made field goals … recorded 10 made 3-pointers … dialed a 4-of-5 performance from beyond the arch versus Concordia … season-best 14 points versus CUNE … secured 34 total rebounds and nine steals … season-high six rebounds versus Midland … dished out 20 assists on the season.

High School: Participated in basketball, cross-country, track and volleyball ... earned All-Conference status and was a four-year letterwinner in basketball ... finished in the top five for Lennox High School in career 3-point shooting percentage at 43% ... participated in four state basketball tournaments ... won back-to-back Most Improved Player awards in basketball ... also a four-year varsity cross-country runner and state qualifier ... a five-year varsity track runner and a four-time state qualifier ... a three-year varsity player in volleyball ... a member of the National Honor Society and a Regent Scholar.
