Orange City, Iowa – Dakota Wesleyan women's golf finishes third at the Northwestern / Dordt Women's Invitational. The Tigers shot a 333 on day two with a total of 672.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Erin Moncur shoots the best for the Tigers with an 81 on the day and a 165 total
- Megan Hinker and Ronae Klein are tied for tenth with a total of 168 strokes
- Ashley Zimmer finished the women's invitational with a score of 172 that ties her for 13th
- Kaitlyn Greenhoff rounds out the top-15 with a score of 173
PICK'S THOUGHTS
"Moncur led the team for the week and hit a lot of quality shots over the two days. Hinker and Klein also played steady and helped us to a third-place finish. As a team, I felt like we could have done a better job adapting to the greens as we struggled to make putts. We will look to improve before we play at Briar Cliff's invitational next week."
