HOW IT HAPPENED
- Megan Hinker leads the Tigers after the first day with 79 strokes, placing her tied for eighth place.
- Ronae Klein and Erin Moncur are 12th and 13th after the first round of golf with 80 and 81 strokes, respectively.
- Ashley Zimmer is tied for 17th with 83 strokes on the day.
- Kaitlyn Greenhoff hit 88 on day one, placing her tied for 35th.

"Overall, it was a good team effort today at Two Rivers Golf Course. We did a good job of playing smart and avoided making any big numbers. Hinker and Klein led the way with impressive play all day. We look to continue the solid play tomorrow and hope to make up some ground."
