Winfield, Kan. – Dakota Wesleyan women's golf concluded day one at the Moundbuilder Spring Classic in first place. The Tigers kicked off the spring season shooting a round one total of 336.
How It Happened
The Tigers opened the 2022 spring season today placing five student-athletes in the top-25 after one round. Kaitlyn Greenhoff finished day one in 22nd place, after shooting a total of 96. Becky Koepke finished the day shooting a total of 89 for 16th place. Jordan Glanzer is tied for 13th with Bulldogs golfer, Mya Nurse, shooting a total of 87. Megan Hinker wrapped up day one in a three-way tie with Isabella Santistevan of Iowa Lakes Community College and Allison Riddle of Science and Arts of Oklahoma University shooting an 83. Leading the Tigers squad after day one is Erin Moncur shooting a total of 77. Moncur is tied for first place with Ashlee Johnson from Southwestern College.

"The ladies played well throughout the day securing a one-shot lead. I feel like the course sets up well for us, providing opportunities to score, which we did well. Erin Moncur led the way with a personal best score of 77. We will need to stay mentally tough tomorrow the windy conditions are expected to pick up."
