Winfield, Kan. – Dakota Wesleyan women's golf claimed their first win of the spring season this afternoon, shooting a 678 between the two days for a 22-stroke first place win. Megan Hinker led the way for the Tigers with a third-place finish shooting a total of 164.
How It Happened
Kaitlyn Greenhoff rounded out the DWU women's golf squad tied for 19th shooting a total of 189. Becky Koepke finished in 11-place with a 175-stroke total, followed by Jordan Glanzer in 10-place shooting a 171. Erin Moncur rounded out the top-5 finishers with a 168-stroke total. Megan Hinker was the top finisher for Tiger golf after day two, jumping two spots to a third-place finish: shooting a combined 164.

"Today was a fantastic team effort to hang tough and battle against the high winds. Proud of how we stayed patient and kept a good attitude all day. Hinker led the team today with an impressive 81, which included an eagle on the 17th hole. Always nice to go down south and get a victory to start the 2022 spring season."
