Rapid City, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan women's golf completed both rounds of the Hardrocker Invite due to the impending bad weather tomorrow in the Black Hills of Rapid City, S.D.. The Tigers climbed to a fourth-place team finish with three top-26 finishes.
How It Happened
With a unique day of golf at Arrowhead Country Club, the Tiger ladies were poised with golfing two rounds in one day. Ashley Zimmer concluded the Hardrocker invite tied for 34th with a round one score of 96 and a round two score of 93, totaling 189 on the day. Jordan Glanzer recorded a score of 182 between the two rounds, shooting a 94 in round one; followed by an 88 in round two. In a three-way tie for 12th was Erin Moncur. Moncur shot a 94 in round one, then improving and adjusting in round two for an 81. Moncur totaled 175 between the two rounds. Leading the Tigers and the field was Megan Hinker. Hinker shot an 81 in the first round, only to follow it up with an impressive 77 on a course with a par of 71. Hinker's first place finish was two strokes ahead of Rianna Garland of South Dakota School of Mines.
