Norfolk, Neb. – Dakota Wesleyan women's golf concluded the 2021-22 GPAC Championships with a final four-round stroke count of 1,361. The Tigers secured a second-place finish only one stroke ahead of Briar Cliff. Megan Hinker secured a fourth-place finish, while Erin Moncur grabbed an eighth-place finish.
How It Happened
Ashley Zimmer wrapped up the 2021-22 season in a four-way tie for 17th. In Zimmer's final round she shot her lowest at the GPAC Championships with an 86.Erin Moncur grabbed a top-10 finish after securing an eight-place finish. Moncur shot an 80 in the fourth round giving her a total of 334 at the Conference Championships. The Tigers top finisher was Megan Hinker, Hinker improved from her round yesterday, shooting an 81 on the final day. Hinker's total between the four rounds was 319, just a mere two strokes out of a top three finish.
