Four Tigers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

Kaylee Johnson, Kelsey Morrison, Allison Meyerink, and Sara Sudenga have been named WGCA All-American Scholars for the 2024-25 season

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Four athletes on the Dakota Wesleyan Women's Golf team earned All-American Scholar honors to cap off their 2024-25 seasons, with players needing an overall cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 to qualify for the prestigious award.

Among the award winners was outgoing senior Kaylee Johnson, who was the experienced force for the team this season en route to a second-place finish at the GPAC Championships in April 2025. White Lake, South Dakota native Kelsey Morrison, was also awarded for her efforts this season in the classroom and on the green. The two upperclassmen would be joined on the awards list by reigning GPAC Golfer of the Year Allison Meyerink and two-time All-Conference award winner Sara Sudenga. Both underclassmen look to add to their already-impressive careers going into the 2025-26 season, with the team's core building momentum for the future of the program.

Note that award winners were classified by their academic year and not their year determined by athletic eligibility. You can see this year's honorees and read the WGCA's full release here.
