SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Allison Meyerink has been named the GPAC's Women's Golfer of the Week for the third time this season following a tournament win at the 2025 Mustang Derby.
Meyerink was a top competitor out in Sioux City at the Whispering Creek Golf Club, leading the way for Dakota Wesleyan Women's Golf to finish second as a team. In the first round of competition, Meyerink landed a 78 (+6) on the first day to position herself at the top of the leaderboard. The second round saw the sophomore from Mitchell, S.D. surge as she registered an even-par 72 to close out the contest, finishing just one stroke ahead of the next two competitors from Morningside with a final tally of 150 (+6) overall. Meyerink will look to carry her momentum from the fall into the spring season in 2026.
