SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Abigail Colgrove has been named the GPAC's Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week following a stretch that saw her record six saves on seven shots-on-goal, including her fifth shutout of the 2025 season.
In the team's first contest of the week against Northwestern on Wednesday, Colgrove registered five saves during the match on six attempts at the net in a 3-1 victory over the Red Raiders. She followed up her performance during the week with a Saturday shutout against the Doane Tigers, saving the only shot that came towards the net as match would end in a 0-0 draw. Colgrove has recorded 26 total saves on the season so far on a .788 save percentage.
