FOREST CITY, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan Women's Soccer squared off against the Waldorf Warriors in a conference matchup on the road.

The Tigers got to work quickly, racking up shots on the net from the jump. Dakota Wesleyan had 41 total shots on the evening, while limiting Waldorf to just four altogether, thanks to an oppressive offensive attack paired with an elite defensive performance by the backline and goalkeeper Abigail Colgrove, who recorded two saves on three shots-on-goal. Annika Enevoldsen and Hannah Petrucci led the Tigers with eight shots apiece, including a goal from Enevoldsen in the eighth minute and another by Petrucci in the 10th. Jacque Madrid struck quickly after Petrucci to give the Tigers a quick 3-0 lead. The Warriors scored their only goal of the game in the 27th minute to bring the score to 3-1, but a goal just 10 minutes later from Molly Colgrove gave Dakota Wesleyan a 4-1 advantage at the half.

Offensive momentum stayed in favor of DWU out of the break, with Mikayla Adams scoring in the 50th minute, which rolled into even more points, as Noelie Prat drove in a goal off a pass from Genesis Mendez in the 54th minute, which was followed up by Adams's second goal of the game just three minutes later. The 7-1 scoreline remained for the rest of the contest with the Tigers holding steady, securing their third win of the season to move to 3-1-3 in GPAC play. DWU sits at seventh in the conference standings at the moment with just four regular-season contests remaining.

DWU Women's Soccer will be back in action against the Concordia Bulldogs at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex this coming Saturday, on October 18th. See the full 2025 schedule here.
