Sioux City, Iowa - The Dakota Wesleyan Tigers traveled to Sioux City, Iowa to compete in the Sioux City Relays at Morningside University.
Track Events:
Sprints-

Tanley Goebel (Jr.) competed in the 100m and 400m opens. She ran 13.66 seconds in the 100m. In her first 400m run of the season she ran a time of 1:06.

Hailey Oswald (So.) ran in the 100m where she set a PR of 13.42 seconds. She also competed in the 400m where she hit a season PR of 1:05.
Field Events:
Jumps-

Dani Deffenbaugh (So.) competed in the long jump. Deffenbaugh had a great day as she PR with a 4.83m jump. Her previous was 4.73m.

Tiegan Meyer (So.) competed in the high jump. She cleared the height of 1.41m

Elizabeth Heinen (Fr.) competed in the high jump. She jumped a 1.51 height clearance. Finding more consistency as the previous two were cleared on less attempts. She placed 4th overall and took the podium.

Ava Ludwig (Fr.) jumped in the long and triple jump. Ludwig competed in her first triple jump where she jumped a 9.26m. A good place to start for the freshman. In long her best jump was a 4.89m. Ludwig placed 3rd overall in long and 4th in triple.
Throws-

Abby Magnuson (Grad.) competed in the discus and shot put. In the shot Magnuson threw a 13.46m throw. Allowing her to place 1st overall in the meet. In discus, Magnuson placed 7th overall with her best mark being 42.33m.

Samantha Kludt (Jr.) competed in the discus, hammer, and shotput. In discus her best throw was her best one as it was marked at 27.76m. In Hammer Kludts best throw was a 42.20m. In shot she threw a 8.97m distance.

Dani Deffenbaugh (So.) threw well in the javelin event where she was able to get a mark of 24.01m.
Tigers Looking Ahead-
Multiple women Tigers took the podium. After a podium weekend the team plans to travel to School of Mines-South Dakota in Rapid City, South Dakota to take part in the School of Mines Invite.
