General: Following a breakout junior season, Bergquist seeks to provide depth for the Tigers at the middle blocker position as she saw action in 14 games throughout 2018.

Junior (2018): Finished fifth on the team with 41 total blocks ... notched 76 kills and 1.6 kills per set ... recorded a career-high 12 kills against Friends University and a career-best six blocks versus Briar Cliff University and Presentation College.

Sophomore (2017): Played in 16 matches throughout the season.

Freshman (2016): Saw action on the DWU junior varsity team.

High School: The 6-foot middle hitter lettered all four years for Wolsey-Wessington ... finished her career serving 637/690 and hitting 1,498/1,637 with 85 aces, 462 digs, 306 blocks and 614 kills ... selected to the 281 Conference volleyball team for two years and named to the Pheasants Fall Classic All-Tournament Team ... played JO volleyball with the Huron Volleyball Club for one year ... participated in basketball and track for the Warbirds ... a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll ... earned Academic All-State honors and received an Outstanding Oral Interp Award ... a recipient of the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award.

SETTING THE STANDARD: Tigers look to create new era of volleyball at DWU

For the previous three seasons, the Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team has been on the brink of postseason play but has missed out on the Great Plains Athletic Conference Tournament each year. However, with 11 returning upperclassmen and one of the most talented recruiting classes under head coach Lindsay Wilber, the Tigers look to make the postseason tournament for the first time under the sixth-year head coach and set a precedence for DWU volleyball teams for years to come.
