Bio

General: The Willmar, Minn., native enters her first season with the Tigers as a defensive specialist.

Sophomore (2022): Played a critical part on the back line for the Tigers through her 122 sets and 33 matches played… she tallied 25 aces and 285 digs on the season… her career high in digs was 22 which she posted against (RV) Dakota State… she also secured three aces in three different matches for a season high… Slagter also received Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition for her hard work in the classroom.

Freshman (2021): Started in 13 matches during the 2021 season and played in all 35 ... tallied 21 service aces and 150 digs during her 120 sets played ... recorded her season high in digs against Saint Xavier (Ill.) during the opening round of the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Tournament, notching 12 in the four-set match ... recorded a season high in service aces against York with three.

High School: Participated in volleyball for four years ... was a four-year starter and letterwinner for the Cardinals ... recorded 565 digs, 72 aces and a 91.7% serving percentage over a three-year span ... paced Willmar Senior High School to three conference championships ... was an honorable mention selection for two years ... also competed for Kandi Elite Volleyball ... led the club to a Top 10 finish at nationals ... also competed in basketball and softball for three years ... was a two-year starter and a three-year letterwinner in both sports ... a member of the National Honor Society.
