Women’s Wrestling Concludes Season at the 2026 GPAC Championship Tournament

HASTINGS, Neb. — Dakota Wesleyan Women's Wrestling ended the 2025-26 campaign at the GPAC Women's Wrestling Championship Tournament.

Cerys Gardner kicked off the DWU effort at the 110-pound weight class, where she recorded a win on the backside of the bracket with a pinfall in 0:32 to secure a placement match. She would fall in the third-place match, still tallying team points with a fourth-place finish, also marking the best finish for a Dakota Wesleyan women's wrestler on the day. Isabelle Camarillo represented the Tigers at 131, where she would fall in two matches, ending her run at the postseason tournament. Tiara Faehnrich capped off her freshman season with two pinfalls and a fifth-place finish in the 138-pound bracket, adding more team points to the board, while Sava'nah Norte finished sixth in the 160-pound bracket, fighting hard in all three of her contests. Kaitlin Gay rounded out the team's effort at the 207-pound weight class, but was unable to record a win between her two matches. The Tigers finished sixth place on the team leaderboard with 25 total points on the day.
