General: The Mitchell High talent readies for the 2022 cross country season with plenty of experience.
Junior (2021): Raced in four meets for the Blue and Gray ... season best in the 5K at the Briar Cliff Invite (22:20.6) ... placed 57th at the GPACs (22:52.1).
Sophomore (2020): Competed at six meets … dialed a collegiate-best in the 5K with a time of 20:25.2 at the Briar Cliff Invite … came away with a 61st-place finish at the conference championships (23:19.8).
Freshman (2019): Competed in six meets … recorded a season best of 21:18.6 minutes at the NAIA Seminole Valley Stampede … finished 57th at the GPAC Championships (21:43.4.).

In the women's 5K race, it was once again Morgan Oedekoven (Pierre, S.D.) and Annika Vermeulen (Mitchell, S.D.) stepping up to the start line while the men's team came away with a sixth-place finish in the team standings.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – In their first race of the 2021 season, the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s and women’s cross country teams toed the line at the Augustana Twilight Meet on Friday night at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, S.D. Two members of the Dakota Wesleyan women’s cross country team competed in the 5K race while the DWU men battled in the 4-mile race, coming away with a 28th-place finish in the team standings.
