General: An athletic corner that will push for more playing time as a sophomore.

Freshman (2016): Recorded four tackles in his first year in a Tiger uniform.

High School: He has earned three-varsity letters for the Hawks football program … in his senior season he finished with three touchdowns, seven interceptions, 189 receiving yards and 61 tackles … also helped guide his team to a 7-3 senior season … Slama was named to the All-District Honorable Mention and was named his team’s defensive MVP.

Personal: Born on Dec. 8, 1997 … son of Peter and Loraine Slama … majoring in entrapreneurial marketing.
