Bio
General: Had a successful first year with the Tigers … looks to continue his rise up the DWU ranks as a sophomore.
Freshman (2014-15): Tied for 32nd at the final GPAC Qualifier of the season in Orange City, Iowa at Landsmeer Golf Course where he shot an 80 … placed sixth individually for the Tigers with a 156 at the Wild West Invite, shot a 77 in round one, followed by a 79 in round two.
High School: Played three years of varsity golf at Merritt Secondary … took 12th at the British Columbia AA High School Championships … took second at the regional high school tournament … had a stroke average of 77 in his last two seasons … also competed on the British Columbia junior and amateur circuit … participated in basketball … on the Principal’s List and Efforts List all four years of high school.
Personal: Born Feb. 15, 1996 … son of Stephen and Sharon McNiven … plans to major in biochemistry.
