Junior (2024-25): Nationally ranked 590 ... regionally ranked 540 ... posted an adjusted scoring average of 78.1 over 23 rounds... averaged 12.54 weighted points per round ... earned All-GPAC Second Team honors after finishing ninth at the GPAC Championships with a score of +4 ... scored a total of 26.79 points for the Tigers.
Sophomore (2023-24): Averaged 78.9 per round in his second season with the Tigers ... recorded his best score of 73 at both the GPAC Championships and the DWU Spring Invite ... had two top five finishes, placing 3rd at the DWU Spring Invite and 5th at the Mount Marty Invite.
Freshman (2022-23): In his first event of his athletic career at DWU, Bettcher posted a +17 on his card in Sioux Center, Iowa… posted a +31 at the Central Plains Invite in Salina, Kansas tying him for 51st… kicking off the spring season, Bettcher led the Tigers tying for 43rd place and shooting a team best +13… posted a 163 at the second spring meet, he tied for 53rd… improved a few spots with a 51st place finish at the Bethany Classic shooting +29… tallied a +24 at the conference championships after struggling in the third round.
High School: Bettcher is a four year starter for the Trojan golf team... his senior season, he averaged a score of 79... in the 2021 Boy's State "A" tournament Bettcher placed fourth individually... while earning West Central Varsity Team MVP and the Trojan Award in the same year... during the summer he competed in the SDGA + Great Live Summer Tournament.
