ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan Men's Golf competed at the NWC Raider Spring Invitational down in Iowa to close out the regular season, including notable finishes against mainly GPAC competition.
Northwestern, Morningside, and Dordt would all be in strong form, but the Tigers were able to keep pace with leading individual Dakota Munger, who was able to place 13th off the back of an immensely impressive 68 (-3) score in round two to secure an overall mark of 142 (-1). Peyton Bettcher finished a few strokes behind, tying for 21st individually, with a final score of 145 (+3), putting together two consistent marks of +2 and +1, while Benjamin Wilber continued the successful back half of the season with a posted final score of 150 (+8). Ryan Flannery would tie Wilber's mark of 150 (+8) after an even par finish of 71 in round two in an impressive comeback effort. Will Jarding and Colin Burke rounded out the effort, recording scores of 158 (+14) and 168 (+26), respectively. As a team, Dakota Wesleyan placed eighth out of 10 listed squads.
