General: Enters his sophomore season with the Tigers … made continuous gains as a freshman, looks to continue to knock off time as a sophomore.

Freshman (2015): Made major strides in his freshman season … finished in 43rd place at the Dean White Invitational … completed the 8k course at the Briar Cliff Invitational in 28:44.72 … had an 89th-place finish at the Mount Marty Invitational with a time of 29:08.71 … wrapped up the season with a 72nd placing at the GPAC Cross Country Championships in a time of 28:52.44.

High School: Ran cross-country and track for the Raiders … had a time of 17:21 for his best cross-country mark in a 5K race … finished with a personal best of 10:57 in the 3,200-meter run … a best of 4:57 for the 1,600-meter run … 2:16 was his best mark for an 800-meter run … was part of the Stevens state-championship track team for two years … received the honor of Academic All-State.

MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men and women’s cross country team brought home a second-place finish in both events after competing at the Buena Vista Invite Saturday in Storm Lake, Iowa.

MITCHELL, S.D. – Strength in numbers will be key for the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s cross country team in 2016. The Tigers return four starters from a year ago and will hope to find their footing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference this season under second-year head coach Derik Fossum.
