General: Ihnen looks to blossom into her role as both a scorer and distributor for the Tigers during her junior campaign.

Sophomore (2021-22): Expanded her offensive role in year two … logged 20 starts for Dakota Wesleyan including 12 conference contests … appeared in all 35 games … averaged 8.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game … scored 287 points on the season … career-best 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting versus Doane … 15-or-more points in four outings … 18 points on 3-of-6 from beyond the arc in a pivotal road win versus Dordt … reached double figures in 10 games … team-high 47 made 3-pointers … converted 36-of-45 (80%) from the charity stripe … compiled 133 rebounds along with 103 defensive boards … snagged a career-high nine boards versus Dickinson State … registered 69 assists, 33 steals and six blocks ... career-high six assists against Concordia.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Feeding off a vibrant and electric crowd, the (RV) Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball team led from wire-to-wire en route to an 83-60 victory over No. 6 and top-seeded Morningside University in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) championship game on Tuesday evening from Allee Gymnasium in Sioux City, Iowa. Dakota Wesleyan finished 49.3% from the floor and outscored Morningside 29-18 in the third quarter to run away with the 23-point victory.

Jada Campbell led all players with 20 points as four DWU players reached double figures, and 12-year veteran head coach Jason Christensen collected his 250th-career victory.

Fremont, Neb. – In its final regular-season road contest of the 2021-22 campaign, the (RV) Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball program sprinted out to a 19-3 first quarter and stifled Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) opponent Midland University, 85-39, on Saturday afternoon from the Wikert Event Center in Fremont, Neb. Eleven Dakota Wesleyan players scored on the afternoon which guided DWU to its fifth-straight win.
