General: The five-time letterwinner and three-time team co-captain joins the DWU women’s golf team for the 2018-19 season.
High School: Placed second at the South Dakota Class ‘A’ Golf Tournament her senior season … member of the State All-Tournament Team in 2017 and 2016 … finished as runner-up at the BHC in 2017, 2015 and 2014 … in 2016 she placed fifth at the state golf tournament and was Region 4A champion … placed fifth in 2015 and seventh in 2014 at the state golf tournament … finished as the region runner-up in 2015 and 2014 … team champion at the region tournament in 2014 … tallied a team championship at the conference meet and a fourth-place finish at state in 2013.
Personal: Born Dec. 27, 1999 … daughter of William and Susan Burr … plans to major in elementary education.

YORK, Neb. – With blustery winds and tough course conditions on the final day, freshman Jade Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) secured a second-place finish as the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team took third place out of 12 teams at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championships on Friday and Saturday from York Country Club in York, Neb.
