General: Adds depth to the DWU women’s track team … will compete in the pentathlon/heptathlon, hurdles and jumps.

High School: Competed in track and field for Canton High School … placed sixth in the 300 hurdles at the 2009 state meet … also competed in the 60-meter hurdles, 100-meter hurdles and long jump … also a member of Canton’s basketball and volleyball teams … earned All-State Academic honors in basketball, track and volleyball … also a the Vice President of Canton’s National Honor Society.

Personal: Born on Nov. 4, 1991 … daughter of Curt and Margene Pederson … majoring in nursing.
