MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University woman's soccer team fell in their Great Plains Athletic Conference opener, 4-0 to No. 20 Midland University today at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.

In the first 15 minutes, the Tiger (2-4, 1-0 GPAC) defense held strong, as Alyssa Weidler (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Marina Brightman (Earlham, Iowa.) both tallied shots on goal. But the Warriors (6-1, 3-0 GPAC) scored in the 18th minute and never looked back enroute to a 4-0 victory.
